I'm Garson, the founder of Squats and Hops.

I'm a strength coach, a beer nerd, and someone who believes you shouldn't have to choose between getting stronger and enjoying life.

With over a decade of coaching experience, I’ve worked with everyone from Division 1 athletes to weekend warriors who just want to move better, lift heavier, and feel good doing it. My goal is to help you train hard, train smart, and still enjoy a cold one at the end of the day.

I created Squats and Hops to challenge the all-or-nothing mentality that dominates the fitness world. You don’t need to give up your favorite food or drink to make progress. You don’t have to train for two hours a day or obsess over macros to get results. You just need a plan that fits your life and a coach who gets it.
